    The most important effect of deforestation in Europe is the destruction of the wilderness.

    Explanation:

    Before 1800, Europe was 4/5 forests. When industrialization started, people started cutting forests for their own benefits which took a big toll on the forest environment. It has caused climate change and global warming.

    Because of the poor policies, hundreds of species have become extinct. Several plants and animals are still losing their habitats which will lead to their extinction eventually.
