The Blue Ridge of Georgia region runs in a series of folds from west east across the northern part of the state.

    Explanation:

The Ridge and Valley region is situated to the west side of the Blue Ridge and runs all along to the north for about a distance of 1200 miles forming by that a significant portion of it in the northwest of Georgia State. This region has divided itself into four parts and is very much distinguished by its long ridges which happens to overlook the broad valleys.

The ridges vary in size and shapes and they have a uniqueness to them.
