What does it mean when different continents contain rock layers of the same age?

    it represents pangea. Pangea is the theory that the all of the continents collided together, creating a supercontinent. A mysterious force brought them apart like a paper boat on a stream. Pangea can be predicted by simply connected the continents like puzzle pieces and finding fossils which have their halves in two different continents.
