An ethnic group is a group of people with similar ethnicity. Each race is part of a different ethnic group, thought to have unique culture that defines it, and different origins in the world. The religion of a person is commonly linked to their ethnic group, however it can also just be based on a persons personal beliefs. You don't have to be a certain race to be a part of a certain religion, it's just what you believe and the way you live your life. Though your ethnicity can have an affect, for example your family might raise you with certain beliefs, you have the ability to convert to a different belief or even leave behind the concept of religion altogether.
