The direction from Carthage to Rome is northeast. This two ancient cities were very close to each other if we consider the distance in air line manner. Carthage lies on the shores of the sea while Rome is very close to the sea, and they have been communicating constantly. Rome is on the situated on the west of what is now central part of Italy, while Carthage is on northern part of what is now Tunisia.
