    volcanic material in valleys

    Explanation:

Firstly, plateau are not too high lands. plateaus are also known as table land due to the flat surface it usually possess. Plateau can be formed from the volcanic eruption of magma or the movement of magma to the earth crust.

Lava plateau are formed from extensive volcanic eruption. The molten magma from the aesthenosphere erupt through fissures and vents on the continental crust. This molten magma, when they reach the surface of the earth where they experience rapid cooling are called Lava. The basaltic lava pile up and after experiencing rapid cooling they become solidified to form rocks. If the volcanic eruption is extensive, due to up-welling of this magma they form structure on the earth surface like valleys (low land area between mountain and hills), plateaus and mountains.

Lava plateau is best describe as a volcanic materials in valleys because the volcanic materials found in valleys are formed from lava and they follow the same process.
