Explain how ocean temperatures affect the climate of coastal cities.

    It affects coastal cities because when the water evaporates the heat that was in the water goes into the air and the heat goes in the air and since the coastal cities are closest the heat affects them first thus making it more moist or hot

    Because the ocean can retain warmth it keeps the temperature of coastal areas milder than inland areas.
