    2,000 years

    Explanation:

The Earth magnetic field is the magnetic field that comes from inside the Earth and goes out into the space and interacts with the solar wind. This magnetic field is affected by solar storms, solar wind and other solar events that interfere with radio transmissions or that cause aurora in northern latitudes.

However, the magnetic shield is not constant and it has been changing, moving north/south to the poles (that's the magnetic pole) and it is contemplated that it will be out of North America in some years and below the Antarctica.

Scientists also think that the magnetic field may actually reverse orientation and they give an estimate of 2,000-2,500 years for this to happen.

Thus, Evidence shows that Earth's magnetic field is diminishing with time and may reverse orientations by the end of the next 2,000 years.
