How does land use change alter Earth's albedo? Why Does this make Earth warmer?

It absorbs more solar radiation and is warmer. Ice and snow, on the other hand, have high albedo values, are very nearly white, and thus reflect most solar radiation that hits them. Earth's albedo affects how much solar energy it absorbs, and therefore how warm earth's surface is.

Land-use and land-cover changes (LULCCs) are known by recent studies to influence climate directly, by altering surface physical properties such as the amount of reflected sunlight (albedo) or the amount of water transpired from soils to the atmosphere.
