    This measuring system has seven base unites:

    meter (m) - measures length

    kilogram (kg) - measures mass

    ampere (A) - measures electric current

    kelvin (K) - measures temperature

    mole (mol) - measures amount of substance

    candela (cd) - measures luminous intensity
