Geosphere is the only sphere present during the formation of fossil fuels

    Explanation:

Fossil fuels are believed to be formed from the remains pf ancient living things that were buried far beneath the earth crust and were exposed to extremely high temperature and pressure.

The atmosphere, biosphere, cryosphere & hydrosphere aren't found far beneath the earth crust & therefore aren't present during the formation of fossil fuels.

The Geosphere on the other hand refers to all parts of earth which include lithosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, cryosphere & hydrosphere. Since lithosphere is the part of the earth present during the formation of fossil fuel and its part of the geosphere, it can be said that the Geosphere is present during the formation of fossil fuel.
