Growing crops can be difficult because of floods drowning the plants, tornadoes ripping the field apart, and other kinds of storms that can damage the plants. Also, many plants need to be watered on a daily or weekly basis, making it difficult to do other things if you own a large field with many crops that need to be watered.

Challenges for growing crops are you don't know if it will be successful, you have to have enough water, the dirt has to be fertile, and the weather may affect how the plant grows.
