The economy of Japan has been a great success and nowadays is one of the best developed in the world because of the country's smart industrialization.

After the World War II, Japan was not looking back, but instead, immediately started to modernize its economy under the example of the Western countries. Since the country was not able to produce a lot since it is very poor in natural resources, Japan started to import raw goods from the countries that had an abundance of natural resources. In the Japanese industry, lots of things started to be manufactured, and the Japanese were producing both, high in quantity and high in quality, which became and still is their trademark. The Japanese were manufacturing things that were highly profitable and demanded on the market, so with a very fast tempo the economy was growing and became one of the strongest in the world.
