Compare and contrast the features of the east and west coasts of the United States. What erosional and depositional features are more common on each coastline? What accounts for these differences?

    Explanation:

    The east coast of the United States is known as the eastern seaboards and found along the shoreline of the Atlantic ocean. They derived the idea of about the 48 states and the region has a continental climate and warm summers and cold and snowy winter. And being a low relief and a passive margin coast is shaped by the process of the glaciation and has many offshore islands. The western coast is along the northern pacific ocean and is defined by the eastern Alaska Range and Mojave desert. It has a cold current that moderates the climate and the being a beach area has more of the erosion and tectonic activities as like the faults and folds.
