    Answer: Pamir Mountain Range

    The Pamir mountain range is the largest mountain system in the world, located southeast of the mountainous region of Pamiro-Alay on the border with Tajikistan and China.

    This great Asian mountain range, is the highest in the world after the Himalayas, with an average altitude of 4000 meters. It is located between the limits of central and southern Asia and related to the east with the Himalayas.

    From this range radiate the following mountain ranges: Hindu Kush, the Karakorum, the Tien Shan and the Hunlun. Being the complete territory distributed between the Republics of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and bordering Afghanistan to the south and China to the Northeast.
