This type of margin is known as a collision zone where continent to continent convergence takes place. Where these two plates interact, no subduction takes place, so no volcanoes are formed. The continental plates are instead folded upwards together to form extensive fold mountain ranges formed from pre-existing rocks such as sedimentary rocks.
