    Countries that are currently going through rapid industrialization are the newly industrialized countries, a group of nations that is formed by Brazil, China, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey.

    The newly industrialized countries are a group of developing countries that are characterized by the dynamic development of advanced technology industries, huge resources of cheap labor, favorable tax policy for foreign investors and a very high GDP growth rate.

    This group of countries includes, among others, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Philippines. Some sociologists also include "Asian tigers" in this group, while others classify them in a separate group of fully industrialized countries. Argentina, Egypt and Sri Lanka are also included by some authors as part of this group.
