    Divergent boundaries occur when two plates move away from eachother, creating a space between them. They are often referred to as Constructive plate boundaries because magma flows between the space of the two plates and cools and hardens, creating New crust. Convergent is the opposite. Also known as destructive boundaries, this is when two plates move toward eachother until one plate is ontop the other. Transform plate boundaries occur when two plates slide past eachother. These most of the time create earthquakes
