Most geologic events take place at the plate boundaries.

    Explanation:

A geologic event is that which is mostly caused when there is a tectonic activity between the plate boundaries. These activities can majorly be of two types, viz. a convergent activity or a divergent activity. When there is an convergent action between two plates, the two plates collide and result in either rising of one plate above the other or the subduction of the less dense plate below the denser plate. In a divergent activity, the plates move away from each other resulting in a geologic event called faulting.
