Automobile makers in US should be required by law to make all their vehicles fuel efficient, even though the vehicles may become more expensive? Agree or disagree? Why?

    Agree, because this would reduce the dependence of the US on oil imported from other countries.

    Explanation:

    This would also allow the US to save a lot on the money spent on fuel at present. More fuel efficient vehicles would also have a positive impact on the climate and environment. There would be less pollution because less of gas emissions would be made which means that the air would be cleaner. fuel efficient vehicles would deliver a positive impact on the US economy.
