If you were looking at earth from the side of the moon that faces earth what would you see during a total lunar eclipse

    So, if you were standing on the moon's surface during a lunar eclipse, the Earth - in front of the sun - would look much bigger than the moon during a total solar eclipse seen from Earth. 3. Night side of Earth in lunar sky ... You wouldn't see any of Earth's day side.
