    Japan has the following type of government: a constitutional monarchy. In the constitutional monrachy the power of the Emperor is limited (ceremonial duties). The branches of the Government are: Executive, Legislative and Judical. The rest of the government's power have these branches. In this type of monarchy a monarch acts as head of state within written parameters.
