Factors can control shoreline evolution are given below.

    Explanation:

    2. tectonic activity.

    3. weather, wind, climate.

    5. tidal range.

    6. material of the shoreline.

The continental shoreline is an evolved process due to the formation of plate or slabs of rocks that are considered as the continental crust of the earth formed about 4.5 bn years ago. Thus crustal land masses are a function of the tectonic activities and all effects of weather and wind erosion and climate changes take place over the surface of the earth at large. Tidal inlets are considered as the dominating factors at the time of night and mornings and these tidal ranges have a huge impact on the type of terrain they touch as the soft coastline ar blown by wind and water as geomorphic agents of change. Material like calcium carbonate and sandstone are susceptible to weathering and erosion caused due to the impact of high tides and this creates other types of shoreline these lead to the evolution of landscapes on earth.
