Why do some plants have large, sweet-smelling flowers with sweet nectar?

    To attract bugs so that the bugs can get the nectar and stuff

    To attract bugs. The bugs that they attract drink the nectar and the pollen gets onto the bug and the bug drops the pollen which makes new flowers. The bigger it is the more pollen the bugs will have and spread.
