What were the three reasons why many romans thought the empire wasn't worth saving

Many Romans though that the empire was not worth saving because:

1. The people of the 'Roman Empire' had lost civic sense and had become barbarians.

2. The spread of Christianity led the Romans to believe that better life existed and it was not worth sacrificing their lives for the Empire. The 'Romans' lost the martial spirit.

3. The Romans had become effeminate and did not want to lead a tough and military lifestyle.

It failed due to a combination of factors that added together overwhelmed the Roman state.
