What is the theory of evolution by natural selection

The natural selection happens on the lever of a whole population (the individuals of the same species living in one place). It refers to the process in which some individuals are better adapted to the specific niche and because of this have better changes to survive the attacks of the predators or to find food. Those individuals have then better chances of reproducing.
