    Answer: Asians ... in prehistory crossing Bering strait.

    Explanation: this is at least widely accepted theory. According to all findings human species originated in east Africa and from there expanded (first migrations) to other parts of globe where (of course) humans were confronted with new species of plants and animals (Australia, South America).
