Rain forests consist of forests with giant vines, usually found in South America. Boreal is Evergreen, it is basically the northern forests with pines and such trees. Chaparral are grasses and shrubs, as can be seen in Californian wilderness, and the Temperate forest are the forests where trees lose leaves in fall.
