    Japan

    Explanation:

Even though the religion of Shintoism has drawn upon other religions like Buddhism, the main religion of Japan is Shintoism. Buddhism is practiced in other countries like China, but Shintoism in its purest form is practiced only in Japan.

Shintoism in Japanese means "The way of the Kami (God) "/"God's path" as Kami in Japanese means God. The origin of its name actually comes from China. This religion includes elements of Animism, Polytheism and Shamanism. When Buddhism first arrived, it had to adjust to Shintoism and that's how Shintoism got its final form.

Fun fact: almost every mountain in Japan has its own Kami (God). The most famous and the most authentic one is certainly mount Fuji, the Holy mountain of Japanese. Its Kami (Goddess) is Sengen-Sama. Every year at dawn pilgrims climb at the top of the mount Fuji to watch the sunrise. One of the most famous Shinto Shrines is located on the mount of Fuji.
