Diamond is one of, if not the hardest gem on Earth. Because of its hardness, people take a liking to it since it rarely breaks. Plus, diamond comes in many colors. By definition, a gemstone is a mineral crystal used to adorn jewelry, so because of these properties, diamond is one of the most desired gemstone.
