The immediate cause of the rebellion was governor William Berkeley refusal to retaliate for a series of native Americans attacks on frontier settlements. In addition, many colonists wishes to attack and claim American Indians frontier land westward, but they were debi d permission by government Berkeley.
In 1676. Nathanial bovin grouped together and angry mob to burn Jamestown and Indian settlements
