The state board of education requires students to take a physical education class to graduate high school. Allison is a talented

dancer who goes to a dance studio every morning before school. Allison also has a lot of academic classes to take, such as an AP

English class, and feels she should not have to take a gym class. Allison's parents decide to present an alternative proposal about

high school graduation requirements to the state board of education.

Which of these would be a likely compromise that the parents and the education department might agree to?

OA.

The education department should not have a say in graduation requirements.

OB. Schools should not have a gym class because students are already too busy.

OC. Activities outside of school, like a dance class, could meet the gym requirement.

Activities outside of school, like a dance class, could meet the gym requirement.

    Answer: Option C

    Explanation:

The state board of education is formed to develop the personality of the child and to make child an all rounder. It should focus on other things also apart from the academic achievements of the child.

In the case of Alison, the board should take in to considerations the dance classes of Alison as an alternative to the gym because in the dance class also Alison gets involved in some physical activities. So she need not go to the gym.
