    D) Marcus Garvey advocated for an African homeland for African Americans. Marcus Garvey was a Jamaican was a political leader, publisher, journalist, entrepreneur and orator who was a proponent of Black Nationalism and Pan-African Movements. He believed that people of African descent should return to Africa and that people of European descent living in Africa should go back to Europe.
