The correct answer is the D-Day invasions

D-Day was a military operation that took place on June 6, 1944 during World War II, in which the Allies organized a major military effort and landed their troops in Normandy, a region of northern France dominated by the Nazis. D-Day was part of Operation Overlord and was responsible for increasing wear and tear on Germans during the conflict.

D-Day was a gigantic amphibious operation carried out by the Allies during World War II. He was part of Operation Overlord and had as main objective to make the disembarkation of troops in Normandy and, then, to start the resumption of France, territory occupied by the Germans since 1940.

D-Day was held in a climate of great distrust for both Americans and British, mainly because of fear on both sides about the number of soldiers who would die. Five beaches were established for the landing of troops, in addition to having been assigned paratroopers to jump into strategic Normandy positions.

D-Day resulted in the landing of approximately 150,000 soldiers in Normandy and was a success, as Allied troops managed to conquer the five beaches designated for the landings.
