Before The Renaissance, Europe was in chaos. The Roman Empire fell so constant invasions swept villages and towns. Feudalism arose as a way of safety which gave lower social classes very little power. And also the Black Death killed 1/3 Europeans all over the continent. It was after that when Europeans discovered the Greco-Roman culture where society began to flourish again. True or false?

False, they turned to powerful lords

    Explanation:

Powerful lords were the heads of feudal societies which were small and housed a number of peasants who were in debt to the feudal lord. These feudal societies were often small, about the size of Andorra, or other micro nations. These societies were often at war with each other and often hired private armies
