Who is responsible for avoiding a collision between two boats?

    If they are both sailing vessels, it is the faster one that must make way. If one is motorized, then it must make way. If both are motorized, the faster one must make way. But, if one is a large shipping vessel ... due to the law of gross tonnage, it is wiser for YOU to get out of it's way!
