    Spain, Ireland, Turkey, Sweden and Saudi Arabia remained neutral in 1942. These countries did not want to get attack by the Axis or Allies forces, so they stayed out of the World War 2 during 1942. Even though countries avoided joining the war to prevent attacks, they were still attacked anyway. Ireland and Switzerland faced bombings and fleet attacks.
