By the 1700s England had the best conditions suited for an Industrial revolution to take place.

The early 1700s had seen huge reforms taking place in England, which gradually gave rise to a middle class and landed gentry with the King having far fewer real powers.

The 'Little Ice Age' in Europe had ended, providing more produce and supporting a larger population.

Education was also improving as more and more people began to read and write.

England was also a relatively small country with excellent links between market towns, villages and larger cities.

More crop production, bigger population, better education, a rising middle class all paved the way for Ideas and economics to flourish.

Apart from this, the British Empire was steadily growing overseas, providing big markets for English products.
