"Fitzgerald, as said before, associated with young "party animals". During that time people liked to read about how good life was and what "really" happened the life's of people in the 20's. When times turned bad and people lost their jobs, they no longer liked reading about how life was in the 20's; However, people today can relate to this lifestyle after all these years. There is a great desire to become popular, rich, famous, and find true love within today's youth. It seems that most of them share this mostly unreachable common goal. The same goal that Fitzgerald had in his youth."
