First explain the advantages each side had at the start of the civil war. thene xplain why those advantages favored one side if the war were to go quickly and why it favored the other the longer the war wore on.

    At the start of the civil war the north held larger industrial capabilites and also a much more condensed population which allowed for more men to be brought up fast while the south had the advantage of owning the raw materials needed for the north to survive and also allowed great amounts of trade until the blockade, The south would of been favored if it went fast since the south needed a quick defensive war to survive but the longer the war wore on the north began to take the advantage since it could produce the supplies needed for war which showed by the end of the war where the south could no longer supply soldiers or even give them shoes which was partly why the battle of ghettysburg happened
