What was a major difference difference between the mughal and ottoman empires?

    The Mughal Empire was an empire that ruled over the Indian subcontinent. It lasted from 1526 to 1857. The culture that predominated within the empire's territories was Indo-Persian.

    On the other hand, the Ottoman Empire was at the crossroads between Europe and Asia. The empire lasted from 1299 to 1920. At its peak, controlled more than 75% of the Mediterranean Sea.

    The major difference between both empires was that while the Mughal Empire was a monocultural empire. The extension of the ottoman made it a pluricultural empire. As it controlled part of Asia, as well as the Vulcans and Eastern Europe.
