The phrase "Let freedom ring" that is said at the beginning of the sentecnes in the last two paragraphs of the speech "I Have A Dream" by MLK is an example of anaphora. This a commonly used rhetorical device in the English language. When a person repeats the words twice it will set a pattern and increase the rhetorical effect of the listener. Another anaphora he uses in the speech is the phrase "I have a dream."
