Why do you think the Allies did not respond to the forced removal or ethnic cleansing, and genocide of Jews in countries under Nazi control?

    First, they didn't know the extent to the horror. Plus, their chief priority was to win the war in Europe before moving to the Pacific theater. Their people were tired, and Europe was a mess under Hitler's regime. Japan wasn't seeming to back down - so they needed to defeat the Nazi's to be able to pour their resources and effort to defeating Japan.
