    The three astronauts on board of the Apolo 11: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins placed the first human foot in a new world in 1969.

    This achievement broke the balance toward sthe side of the US, in the Space Race betwen the URSS and US, as both countries were compiting also on this field during the Cold War.
