Who were the two men called war Hawks who pressured the US president into declaring war?

    Those two men were Henry Clay and John Calhoun.

    They were called War Hawks because they wanted to start a war - they were members of the Congress who urged the President to declare war. This happened in 1812, when America waged a war against Britain because of some violations.
