Article VII of the Constitution deals with the Ratification. Article VII of the Constitution declares that it shall become the official law of the ratifying states. For the Constitution to be ratified, nine out of the thirteen states had to be agreed. Out of the 55 delegation of the convention, 39 of them had signed the ratification. The Constitution went into effect in 1788.
