Do you think it was important for all the states to ratify the constitution? why or why not?

    9 out of 13 states had to ratify the Constitution. The Constitution is more conservative, and the Anti-Federalists did not like that it pushed a strong government. They claimed that the constitution did not fulfill all of their rights, which is why the Bill of Rights was created. I think it would be different if all states would have ratified it be, because that means all states would have been Federalists, and not democratic-republicans. If all the states agree with one another, I do not think we would have to political parties or the Bill of Rights.
