What did Abraham Lincoln learn as a result of the first battle of bull run?

a) the south was unprepared for war and did not have enough troops

b) the north did not need as many troops as he originally thought

c) the north was stronger than he though so the war could end faster that he had expected

d) the south was stronger than he thought so the war could take longer that he had expected

    d) the south was stronger than I thought the war could take longer than I had expected

    The defeat provoke the Union into mobilizing resources for a long war. Also the North had a larger army than the South, and was expecting an easy victory, which didn't happen, and Lincoln had to convoke more men to battle.
