A representative government refers to the electoral system in which all eligible citizens can vote to elect their representatives to handle legislation and protect citizen's rights by facilitating their participation in government decision-making.
Explanation:
In a representative government system, members of the assembly are people's representatives in government.
The best example of the representative government system would be the U. S. where the citizens elect a president and members of Congress.
This type of government allows citizens to change their government peacefully and constitutionally, that is, through elections.
