Politicians and Political Action Committees (PAC) are related to each other.

    Explanation:

PAC is an organisation that is responsible for raising and spending money on candidates during a campaign. It can be used either to elect or defeat a candidate. Mostly PACs constitute of people in business or with labour and ideological interests. Candidates need these PACs because campaigning is expensive, and PACs sponsor them. They basically influence the result of an election by supporting particular candidate or a political party.

PACs can give fixed amount of money to a candidate committee per election. They may also give money to any national party committee. Apart from this they can also receive money from other PACs or an individual.
